12seconds.tv Now Recording in TweetDeck
The worlds most popular twitter client is now offering video recording for 12seconds.tv. Jennifer Van Grove reported on Mashable.com that “Even though TweetDeck and 12seconds have long been cozy bed mates, today marks a new level of commitment; Twitter’s most popular desktop client and its online video clone are now making 12second babies.” (Read the entire article here)

In order to get this feature you’ll need to make sure that you’re using version 0.22b – I thought that I had the most recent version, but was wrong; hit their site and download it if you’d like to try it out. What’s so special? Well you get a groovy record button on inside of TweetDeck – this makes it really simple to post updates without having to go anywhere else.
Things that I’d love it if they’d nail down:
- A widget that would scale (presently you’d have to build your own – and they allow for such, but I don’t have the time or talent do it right now.) So I’m stuck with a 380 or 175 wide widget – neither are great for my present layout…
- Actually that’s it – I’m in love with everything else they’re doing!!!
As someone who’s on twitter – or thinking about starting video bloging, what does this mean to you?
This can be an awesome new entry point for you to be able to more rapidly and with more agility be able to send more video posts on 12seconds.tv. If you are not already using TweetDeck -then you should give it a try, there’s a reason that it’s the most popular twitter client on the net!

If anyone tries it and is able to get a video to post – please let me know, as I crashes each time that I try to do it – and I thought it was a Windows 7 thing, and it's not working on my XP box either…
